Lini Lambrusco Rosso 38-This is a red sparkling wine with tart cherry flavors. Lambrusco pairs well with rich food such as cured meats and cheeses.
Bortolomiol Rosé Spumante - filanda 2015 50- This Rose sparkling wine has great red fruit [strawberry] flavors.
Ricci Curbastro Franciacorta brut 80- This is an excellent sparkling Italian wine with toasted bread crust, mineral, and citrus flavors.

Sobrero Langhe Chardonnay 2014 45- A lighter style of Chardonnay with “some” citrus and stone fruit [peach] flavors
Ronco dei Tassi Collio Friulano 2014 56- Friulano is one my favorite Italian white wines and this one has great almond and citrus flavors.
Terralba Derthona Timorasso 2007 60- This is a very interesting white wine because with age, like this 2007, it takes on the characteristics of a Riesling wine. The citrus fruit and mineral flavors are evolved and complex. A very good wine value.
Alice Bonaccorsi Etna Bianco - valcerasa 2013 70- The grapes grown in the volcanic soil of Sicily have intense mineral flavors.
Paolo Bea Arboreus 2010 100- Paolo Bea is a master winemaker in Umbria Italy. This Orange [skins left on the white wine grapes create an orange hue] wine has intense stone fruit [apricot] orange peel and honey flavors.
Valentini Trebbiano d’abruzzo 2010 225- Valentini has put Trebbiano white wine on the map. His wine redefines the meaning of Trebbiano and this is a wine experience.
Castell’in villa Toscana Rosato 2016 50-This is a great Rose with a lot of red fruit [strawberry-cherry] flavors.
Benazzoli Bardolino 2015 36-
Gaspare Vinci Nero d’Avola 2013 44- The grapes grown in the Sicilian hot sun are very ripe and produce a “lush” wine with dark fruit [black cherry-dark plum] flavors. This is a “crowd pleasing” red wine.
Travignoli Chianti Rúfina Riserva - tegolaia 2009 56-
Canalicchio di Sopra Rosso di Montalcino 2013 70- Rosso di Montalcino is the “younger” “skinny” brother of Brunello di Montalcino. Rosso have “some” of the flavors of Brunellos without the “weight” and “body”. Rosso di Montalcino’s are a great value wine on restaurant lists because they have a lot of flavor, they can be enjoyed young [like this 2013, and are usually decently priced.
Podere Casanova Vino Nobile di Montepulciano riserva 2009 75-
Elena Casadei - le anfore Cannonau 2015 80- Cannonau is one of my favorite Italian red wines because there are intense cherry fruit and mineral flavors. This is due to the black volcanic soil of Sardinia.
MAGNUM Travignoli Chianti Rúfina Riserva - tegolaia - Magnum 2010 120-If you are having 5 or more guests for dinner, a second bottle of wine will be necessary. Here is an excellent value Chianti from the fantastic 2010 vintage. This Reserva [aged longer before release] Chianti has enough bottle age to soften the tannins and allow the great Sangiovese fruit flavors to emerge. It is said that wineries put their best wine in magnums. There is nothing that says “celebration” like a big bottle of wine being poured at the table. An excellent red wine value.

Castell’ in Villa Chianti Classico riserva 2001 195- This Riserva [aged longer before release] Chianti is from the excellent 2001 vintage. Castell’in Villa are brilliant winemakers. This wine has nice bottle age and the Sangiovese fruit flavors will be beautiful.

Produttori del Barberesco Riserva - Ovello 1979 375- The 1979 is an exotic example of what mature Nebbiolo can be. This delicate Reserva Barberesco has sour cherry and cinnamon flavors and is definitely a wine experience. Prodottorri del Barberesco is one of my favorite producers of Nebbiolo wine and this is Barberesco is from the Ovello vineyard site.
Tenuta San Guido, Bolgheri - Sassicaia 2009 375- This Sassicaia is from the excellent 2009 vintage.
