CHABLIS William Fèvre 2015 17/75- Chablis is my favorite white Burgundy [Chardonnay] because it has complex fruit and mineral flavors. William Fevre produces a very good Chablis for a very good price. This wine is offered by the glass, so try it before ordering a whole bottle.

CÔTES DU JURA ‘Les Sarres’ Jean Rijckaert 2010 80- This is not Chardonnay, but the Savagnin grape which has a “rustic feel” and flavors of nuts and apples. A complex white wine.

SANCERRE ‘La Croix du Roy’ Lucien Crochet 2014 90- Lucien Crochet is a master winemaker in Sancerre [Sauvignon Blanc]. He is able to express the true terroir [unique scents and flavors of the soil and surrounding flora/fauna] of a vineyard site. This is an excellent food wine.

CHABLIS 1ER CRU ‘Fourchaume’ La Chablisienne 2015 100-

SAVENNIÈRES ‘La Coulée de Serrant’ Nicolas Joly 2008 145-

CHASSAGNE-MONTRACHET Joseph Drouhin 2012 200- This Chassagne-Montrachet

MEURSAULT CHARMES 1ER CRU Colin-Morey 2012 265- Meursault is the most “feminine” white Burgundy [Chardonnay]

CHINON Vieilles Vignes Dom. des Clos Godeaux 2014 60-

CÔTES DU ROUSSILLON Dom. du Clos des Fées 2014 80-

SAINT-ÉMILION Côtes de Baleau 2006 80- A great value wine.

MOULIN-À-VENT Château du Chatelard 2014 95-Do not confuse this Beaujolais for that “super sweet” wine. This is Cru Beaujolais from Moulin-A-Vent and can be as nuanced and as complex as red Burgundy Pinot Noir. This is an excellent food pairing wine.

CORNAS Vieilles Vignes, Dom. Alain Voge 2014 150-

NUITS-SAINT-GEORGES Domaine d’Ardhuy 2009 180-

CHAMBOLLE-MUSIGNY ‘Borniques’ Frédéric Magnien 2006 190-

VOSNE-ROMANÉE ‘Basses Maizières’ Pierre Naigeon 2012 200

BANDOL Château Vannières, Provence 1988 220- Bandol is one of my favorite red wines! The Mourvedre grape is used to produce this fantastic wine with great black fruit [black cherry-blackberry-kirsch] flavors. This Bandol has the necessary bottle age to smooth out the intense tannins and allow the amazing Mourvedre grape flavors to evolve and become more complex. A great bottle of wine.
