Whites

Under $75.00

Brunori 2015 San Nicolò, Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore, Marche 24- Is this a misprint? Can this great Italian wine with “crispness’ and nutty flavors really be $24.00? Order this wine quickly, before they realize their “mistake”

Henri Perusset 2014 Mâcon-Villages . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .58- This is Chardonnay grown in the Macon region of France. Because Macon is “off the beaten path” from Burgundy, the great wines produced there, do not carry a high price tag. A great value white wine.

Clos Ste Magdeleine 2014 Cassis, Provence . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 69-

Albert Boxler 2014 Sylvaner 72- .

Albert Boxler 2012 Pinot Gris, Réserve 115-

Kistler 2014 McCrea Vineyard, Chardonnay, Sonoma Mountain, California 165- If you are set on ordering a California Chardonnay, pick this one. A very “rich” and “full bodied” “California Puligny” wine. You will not be disappointed.

Antoine Jobard 2014 Saint-Aubin, Sur le Sentier du Clou, 1er Cru 187- This Chardonnay is produced in St Aubin, which is “off the beaten path” from the expensive [Puligny-Chassagne] white Burgundies. You get a great Premier Crus [grapes grown in the special “Sur le Sentier du Clou” vineyard] wine from the fantastic 2014 vintage, for a great price.

Vincent Dauvissat 2010 Vaillons, 1er Cru 250-

Red

Under $100.00

Vallin 2014 Syrah, Santa Barbara 68- Classic California Syrah with licorice, black fruits, and black pepper flavors. A good value wine.

Vincent Paris 2016 Saint-Joseph 77- This is a great Syrah from a “less pedigreed” area in France. A lot of serious winemakers produce Syrah in St Joseph with classic Syrah leather notes and flavors [spice-blackberry] for a value price.

Domaine Gramenon 2015 Côtes-du-Rhône, L’Elémentaire 79- Great withBBQ.

Régis Bouvier 2015 Marsannay, Clos du Roy 84-Marsanny is a colorful [deep red] Pinot Noir. The 2015 vintage ensures this wine will be “bright” and with fresh red fruit [strawberry-raspberry] flavors.

Cantalupo 2010 Ghemme, Piedmont 8510, This wine should be great with Korean BBQ.

Jean-Paul Thévenet 2016 Morgon, Vieilles Vignes 83- Don’t mistake this Beaujolais for that “super fruity” wine. This is Crus Beaujolais from the Morgon region. This wine can be as complex and as nuanced as Burgundy Pinot Noir. A beautiful choice.

Over $100.00

Obsidian Ridge 2013 Half Mile, Lake County 150

Domaine le Sang des Cailloux 2015 Vacqueyras, Cuvée de Lopy 120 2014 Vacqueyras 75- This Vasqueyras [pronounced Vah-Kay-Rah] is a dark purple spicy wine. A big wine for big food. Domaine le sang des Cailloux is known for producing great Vacqueyras. Repeat after me Vah-Kay-Rah…Vas-Kay-Rah…

Louis Barroul 2010 Côte Rôtie, Les Roses . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 162-

Château Pichon-Longueville 2009 Réserve de la Comtesse, Pauillac . . 175- Every big Chateau, like Pichon-Longueville, puts their “best” gapes into their “marquee” label. The “second best” grapes go into a “second label” [such as Reserve de la Comtesse]. In a great vintage, like 2009, there is little difference between the “best” and “second best” grapes. So the wine you pick here, will be an amazing Bordeaux, at a great price.

Château Léoville Las Cases 2010 Le Petit Lion du Marquis de Las Cases, Saint Julien 198- This is the“second label” of the great Chateau Leoville Las Cases. The 2010 vintage is considered to be a fantastic vintage. Once again, there is little difference between the “best” and “second best” grapes from the great 2010 vintage. This is an opportunity to taste the expertise from the winemakers at Leoville Las Cases.

Produttori del Barbaresco 2007 Muncagota, Barbaresco, Riserva, Piedmont . . . . . . . . 180-

Bussola 2009 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico TB, Veneto 290

2009 Vigna Pagliaro, Sagrantino di Montefalco, Umbria . . . . . . .230
