WITTMANN Riesling Trocken WESTHOFENER 2012 (RHEINHESSEN
EMPIRE ESTATE Riesling 2015 (FINGER LAKES) 55- Do not dismiss this Riesling from Upstate New York. Because of the cold climate, Riesling grapes flourish there.
VIGNERI DI SALVO FOTI Etna VIGNA DI MILO 2014 (SICILY) 90
VIGNERI DI SALVO FOTI Etna VIGNA DI MILO 2014 (SICILY) 90o pair with rich food.
EGON MÜLLER Riesling SCHARZHOF 2015 (SAAR) 125-
LINGUA FRANCA Chardonnay SISTERS 2015 (WILLAMETTE) 135-Oregon.
PIERRE BOISSON Meursault 2015 155- This is a "feminine" white Burgundy [Chardonnay]. The grapes are grown in a “village” vineyard site. The 2015 vintage was amazing.
DOMAINE PAUL PILLOT Saint-Aubin 1er Cru PITANGERETS 2015 115- will be “bright” and fresh.
VINCENT DAUVISSAT Chablis 2013 175- Dauvissat is master winemaker in Chablis. He is able to express the true terroir [the unique scents and flavors of the soil and surrounding flora/fauna of a particular vineyard] in his wines. The 2013 vintage was excellent.
BENANTI Etna PIETRAMARINA 2009 (SICILY) 160-
PIERRE-YVES COLIN-MOREY Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru MORGEOT-FAIRENDES 2015 240-.

Chave St Joseph 75.00
DOMAINE GRAMENON Côtes du Rhône SIERRA DE SUD 2015
WIND GAP Syrah 2014 (SONOMA COAST) 95- This wine has the big black cherry flavor of classic California Syrah. A very well made wine that is in perfect balance. The true hallmark of a great winemaker is his/her ability to produce a balanced wine. The wine should behave like a wave. The fruit flavor should rise in the mouth, crest, and then slowly fade away [long finish].
FONTODI Chianti Classico 2012 85-
MARCEL LAPIERRE Morgon 2014 (BEAUJOLAIS) 85 - Do not dismiss this Crus Beaujolais as one of those “super fruity” wines. Crus Beaujolais, this one from the Morgon region, are serious wines. They can be as nuanced as some Burgundy Pinot Noirs. A great food wine and a great value.
GIUSEPPE MASCARELLO Barbera d’Alba SCUDETTO 2013 80
MAURO FRANCHINO Gattinara 2012 95
JEAN-BAPTISTE SOUILLARD Crozes-Hermitage BATIES 2014 95- Crozes Hermitages [Syrah] are the best red wines value on most restaurant wine lists.
DOMAINE DE MONTILLE Beaune 1er Cru SIZIES 2012 105
FRANCK BALTHAZAR Cornas CHAILLOT 2014 125-.
FATTORIA DI FELSINA Chianti Classico Riserva 1994 165-Have you ever tasted 23 year old Chianti? Chiantis age gracefully and develop evolved, complex, and nuanced fruit flavors. Ask the Sommelier if this 1994 is “flabby” [loss of structure] and “hollow” [absence of fruit].
CASANUOVA DELLE CERBAIE Brunello di Montalcino 2008 135-
MARC ROY Gevrey-Chambertin V.V. 2015 155-
SCARPA Barbaresco TETTINEIVE 2006 180- Its all about the vintage! The 2006 was a great vintage,
CASTELLO DI NEIVE Barbaresco Riserva SANTO STEFANO 1989 275 - This Barberesco has the trifecta! Great winemaker, historic vintage, grapes from the Santo Stefano vineyard site. A very special wine!
DOMAINE TEMPIER Bandol CABASSAOU 1992 (PROVENCE) 295- This is 100%Mourvedre grapes and this wine needs bottle age to soften the tough tannins and allow the fantastic fruit flavors to emerge. Here you have the necessary bottle age to do the trick. I recently tasted a 1994 Bandol wine and it was amazing!
