Champagne

R.H.Coutier Brut, Grand Cru, Ambonnay, Champagne, France, NV 93-

Bruno Paillard Brut Rosé, Première Cuvée, Champagne, France, NV 137-This is an excellent Rose Champagne with “bright” red fruit [strawberry] flavors.

Whites

Under $100.00

RIESLING Standing Stone, Finger Lakes, New York, 2015 60- Don’t dismiss Rieslings from upstate New York. The cold climate there is perfect for growing Riesling grapes. This is a good wine and a good value.

SAUVIGNON BLANC Cuvée Silex, Fournier, Sancerre, Loire Valley, France, 2013 78- a good value.

CHARDONNAY: NEW WORLD Patz & Hall, Russian River Valley, California, 2014 64-

CHARDONNAY: OLD WORLD Cote de Lechet, Isabelle & Dennis Pommier, Chablis 1er Cru, Burgundy, France, 2012 76- This French Chardonnay is from the amazing 2012 vintage. This means this wine will be “bright” and fresh tonight . Chablis is my favorite white Burgundy because of the complex flavors and minerality. This is a Premier Crus Chablis, meaning the grapes are grown in a special vineyard site. This is a beautiful wine and a great wine value.

WHITE BLENDS Château Tour Du Foussat, White Bordeaux, Bordeaux, France 2014 55- A good wine value pick.

Over $100.00

Jean Noel Gagnard, Les Masures, Chassagne Montrachet, Burgundy, France, 2012 141- Chardonnay

Reds

Under $100.00

Vina Ardanza, Reserva, La Rioja Alta, Spain, 2007 78- This could be the best value red wine on the whole list. I would pick this wine to drink!

Domaine Roger Perrin, Cuvée Vieilles Vignes, Côtes du Rhône, France, 2012 59I love ordering good Cotes du Rhone in a restaurant because it is always a great wine value.

Domaine Phillipe & Vincent Jaboulet, Crozes-Hermitage, Nouvelére, Crozes Hermitage Syrah is another one of my favorite wines to order in a restaurant.

Clos du Mont Olivet, Le Petit Mont, Châteauneuf Du Pape, France, 2014 82- A great Chateauneuf Du Pape for the money. The 2012 was a really good vintage.

Simi, Sonoma County, California, 2014 56 Freemark Abbey, Napa Valley, California, 2013 68- If you want a California Merlot, pick this one.

Hendry HRW, Napa Valley, California, 2014 73- If you desire California Cabernet, pick this one.

Susana Balbo, Malbec, Mendoza, Argentina, 2014 68- If Malbec is your preference, then pick this one.

Château Bel-Air-Ouÿ, Saint-Émilion, Grand Cru, Bordeaux, France, 2010 87- The 2010 was an amazing vintage. An excellent red Bordeaux value wine pick.

Over $100.00

Château Fonréaud, Listrac-Médoc, Bordeaux, France, 2005 105 - Another great Bordeaux pick. This time from the amazing 2005 vintage. This wine has 12 years of bottle age and  allows the wines tannins to soften and the fruit to become more compl

Antinori, Badia A Passignano, Chianti Classico, DOCG, Gran Selezione, 2010 112- The 2010 vintage was excellent, so this Chianti will have very “bright” dark fruit [blackcherry-blackberry] and spice flavors.

Ridge Vineyards, Zinfandel, Geyserville, Sonoma County, California, 2014 116- Unlike California Cabernets, there are no “tough” tannins in Zinfandel. You can enjoy this 2014 tonight.

Domaine Serene, Evenstad Reserve, Willamette Valley, Oregon, 2013 124-

Domaine Michel Magnien, Fremieres, Chambolle-Musigny, France, 2013 132- This Pinot Noir is from the village of Chambolle, where the wines are almost “ethereal”. They are light in color but possess intense red fruit [strawberry-cherry-raspberry] flavors. Think of a strong woman.

Domaine Jean Grivot, "Les Charmois ", Nuits-St-Georges, France, 2014 139-  Pinot Noir
