brut 1er cru ‘empreinte’ rene geoffroy ‘09 vallée de la marne 145- This is a great “brut” [dry] Champagne from the excellent 2009 vintage.

sancerre lucien crochet ’15 loire 80 - Lucien Crochet is one of the best winemakers in the Loire valley. His Sancerre [Sauvignon Blanc] is one of my favorite wines. A great white wine with food.

châteauneuf du pape blanc ‘la crau’ vieux télégraphe ’13 rhône 155- Amazing wine with great red apple, pear, and ripe cassava melon fruit flavors. Great “lush” mouth feel.

MAGNUM côtes de provence ‘chateau’ chateau peyrassol ’16 150- This is an excellent Rose from one of the best winemakers in Provence. If you are dining with 5 or more guest, a second bottle of wine will be necessary.

beaujolais juliénas pascal granger ’13 45- Don’t dismiss this Beaujolais as one of those “super fruity” red wines. This is Crus Beaujolais from Julienas. Very nuanced and a fantastic food wine. This could be the best value on the entire red wine list!


syrah collines rhodaniennes domaine jamet '15 rhône 68- Do you like French Syrah from an amazing winemaker? 


zinfandel ‘les enfants terribles’ dashe ’15 mendocino county 70- If you are looking for a California Cabernet, pick this Zinfandel instead. California Cabs require bottle age to soften their tannins to be really enjoyable. Zins do not have that problem, so you can drink them young. That is why Zinfandels are great restaurant red wines. 


gattinara vallana ’07 alto piemonte ~ nebbiolo 80-thisis a great value wine.

‘super tuscan’ tenuta canto alla moraia ’10 ~ cabernet sauvignon, sangiovese, merlot 90- Pick this Super Tuscan wine from the fantastic 2010 vintage. This wine is blended which gives a complexity of fruit flavors. With this bottle age, a great wine that is ready to drink.
